COURAGEOUS FISH

Ever since i was little i have always wanted a Japanese garden with lots of bonsai trees and pond with lotus flowers and koi fishes in it. Once at ATC i was in awe when i saw huge ones, as in biggest that i have ever seen. There an exhibit in the mall by breeders shown different kinds and "how-tos" on taking care of them. There were like 2-3 huge koi fishes swimming in a standard sized jacuzzi. They can be fed by hands and that there were no sense of aloofness as people tried to touch them. Right there the eagerness to have them was revived. Then again, space, time and budget wont allow me to have them. Sigh!

FYI: Koi fishes in Japanese culture symbolizes good fortune and luck. They are also associated with perseverance in adversity and strength of purpose. In Buddhism it represents courage.
