MID AUTUMN FESTIVAL

The Mid-Autumn Festival, also known as the Lantern Festival, is held on the 15th day of the eighth month in the Chinese calendar, which is usually around mid or late September in the Gregorian Calendar. It is a date that parallels the autumn and spring Equinoxes of the solar calendar, when the moon is supposedly at its fullest and roundest.

Went to Takashimaya to drop some cheques. Mid Autumn Celebration is being held at the basement area of the mall. And what are in stores?? MOONCAKES!!!

Yummy! Mooncakes being sold in different flavors, sizes, colors and boxes! Well, they're expensive at this time.

I love moon cakes especially the ones with salted duck eggs. I had my piece last saturday. What i had was the one which is green inside and with crunchy white little seeds inside which i believe to be from watermelons, well, like that kind. :)
